At Paramount Business Jets, we like to think we stand out among our competitors for our safety ratings, transparency with our clients, a wide range of available aircraft, and our extensive knowledge on private jets that we can share. So, if you want to know how to book a private jet, keep on reading.
Private Jet Payment Types
Whole Ownership
With whole ownership, you buy the jet outright. This option becomes viable the more you fly. Generally speaking, you should only consider whole ownership once you fly more than 200 hours per year.
Fractional Ownership
Instead of buying the entire aircraft, fractional ownership allows you to buy part of one.
Your portion means you have the right to fly the aircraft for a certain amount of hours per year. As a rough analogy, think of fractional ownership like owning a timeshare property.
Fixed-Rate Jet Cards
A pre-loaded jet card. By paying upfront, the hours will be deducted from your future flights.
Some customers like this approach when they have a set budget which they cannot exceed.
Debit Jet Card
These offer you a bit more flexibility with your flights and requests. The difference between fixed-rate jet cards and these debit jet cards is that you do not have a set limit – for example, 25 hours. Instead, you can rack up flight hours when you need them.
On-Demand Jet Charter
Pay for your specific trip only. You don’t need to commit to full or partial ownership, nor pay any joining fees.
If you want the most flexible and cost-effective methods, you’ll want to consider a debit jet card or on-demand charter. For example, if you choose an on-demand charter, you’ll only ever make a booking or payment when you need a specific flight. There are no membership or subscription fees. So, even if it’s a one-off private jet flight, you won’t have to pay any extra fees.
Unlike fractional ownership, there’s no pressure to use a certain amount of flight hours in a certain period of time. Plus, using an on-demand charter means you can handpick the type of aircraft you want.
