Preflight Audit
To ensure the safe operation of each and every flight, Paramount Business Jets makes use of the services of WYVERN Aviation Safety Intelligence. WYVERN is a leading independent provider of data, research and analysis services to the business aviation marketplace. Before take-off, every Paramount Business Jets' flight requires multiple audits using a PASS report, a monitoring system developed by WYVERN Aviation Safety Intelligence and/or a Pre-Flight Trip CHEQ created by the Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/U.S). The PASS report is one of the most detailed safety analysis programs available in the industry and provides comprehensive information on each reserved plane, pilot, and carrier before every flight. In addition, the PASS report provides us with information about the crew’s pilot certificates, type ratings, accidents, incidents, violations, the operator’s certificates, operational control of the aircraft and the aircraft insurance levels.
In addition we supplement this information with a Trip CHEQ report created by Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/U.S). Each Trip CHEQ report checks and verifies crucial information concerning the operator, aircraft and crew for a given trip, allowing us to review multiple, real-time safety evaluations for each and every flight. Both WYVERN and ARG/U.S are recognized as leading authorities on aviation safety and provide superior third-party evaluations and verifications for every flight we operate. Each flight is automatically safety audited to ensure superior ratings on:
- FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) records, certifications and registrations
- Operator partners certifications and history
- Mandated safety instrumentation and avionics technology
- Pilot qualifications and certification records, including flight time, training, experience and history
- Crew qualification and certification records
- Aircraft insurance levels
ARG/U.S also operates a carrier rating system that categorizes air charter carriers and their private jets into one of four levels: DNQ, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Paramount Business Jets only utilizes aircraft that have a Gold rating as this requires carriers to provide detailed pilot and aircraft records to ARG/U.S for review.
During the safety audit process should an aircraft or crew not meet 100% percent of our safety requirements and/or those of WYVERN and ARG/U.S we will immediately reserve another aircraft and/or crew for the flight. Paramount will never assign an aircraft or crew that does not meet our required standards. To provide our clients with further peace of mind, all of our audit reports are forwarded to clients prior to each flight for their own review. This incredible wealth of information ensures that Paramount Business Jets operates one of the most comprehensive and detailed safety programs in the industry. Jet Smart. Jet Safe.
